SWB Uganda in Action
Since [my children] started coming to this program, I am seeing them very confident and more outspoken. SWB welcomes you no matter what condition you are in. You don't pay a shilling for your children to attend this program. All services are completely free of charge.

About SWB Uganda
Through daily programs for out-of-school youth participants, community activities during school holidays, and youth-led soccer leagues, Soccer Without Borders Uganda is a crucial resource to urban refugee youth in Kampala. As leaders in social inclusion and getting girls in the game, and as active participants in the East Africa Common Goal Community, SWB Uganda also works to build the capacity of partner organizations and coaches to build more equitable program spaces for youth.

Spotlights
Spotlight: Coach Jules
Jules Murhula was 16 years-old when he arrived in Uganda for the first time in 2012. Facing an unstable and insecure climate, his family had uprooted from the Democratic Republic of Congo and found refuge in Kampala. Today he is known "Coach Jules" and is the current Director of SWB Uganda.
Spotlight: Fahaby Kitimbo
Coach Fahaby joined SWB Uganda in 2019 and immediately made an impact as an extremely strong role model for all the girls at the SWB Uganda hub. She currently coaches four of girls’ teams and is a passionate advocate for the positive change that soccer can make in girls and women. She is specially trained in creating and strengthening psychosocial support networks, which will increase the rate at which girls participate in soccer activities.
SWB Uganda Partners
Building a more inclusive world requires a shared purpose and a collaborative approach. Our partners and supporters enable us to provide programming to youth free-of-cost, while also providing complementary services to youth and families when their needs fall outside of our scope.
